Rogue Space Systems Corporation Signs LOI with OrbitsEdge to Provide Services to SatFrame Constellation 590 237 Jeromy Grimmett

LACONIA, NH, January 20, 2022 — Rogue Space Systems Corporation signed a Letter of Intent with OrbitsEdge, Inc. to provide orbital inspection, maintenance, transport, and refueling services for a ten-year period to the OrbitsEdge SatFrame Constellation.

This collective work will be done in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), where OrbitsEdge plans to begin operating in late 2023. This partnership is a strong step toward the future of the business of space and shows the necessity of commercial collaboration between in-space companies.

The OrbitsEdge SatFrame™ model 445 LE is a proprietary satellite bus designed to protect sensitive edge computing and storage hardware. Built to compensate for the environmental stressors of space on the hardware itself, the SatFrame™ will provide years of constant and robust performance in LEO.

“Rogue is excited to work with OrbitsEdge to provide exemplary service to their SatFrame Constellation,” said Rogue Space Systems Founder and CEO, Jeromy Grimmett. “Rick and his team at OrbitsEdge are blazing a trail for edge computing in space, a critical service needed for this new in-space economy. By leveraging Rogue’s capabilities and coupling them together with OrbitsEdge is another way Rogue is cultivating a financial ecosystem to help us all thrive in space. We look forward to proving to be a critical partner to all who are on this new journey.”

“We are pleased to have an agreement with Rogue as we prepare to enter this critical new phase of business,” said Richard Ward, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of OrbitsEdge. “The services Rogue provides will make us more competitive in our market and gain the advantage as we reduce lifecycle and refurbishment costs in our mature platform.”

Over the summer of this year, Rogue signed an LOI with Orbital Assembly Corporation to provide observation and robotic support services for their PSTAR mission scheduled for 2024. OrbitsEdge is the first constellation customer Rogue has attained. Rogue is looking to begin seeding its Orbot services constellation into LEO beginning in 2022.
