Meet OTP-2

The second Orbital Test Program spacecraft from Rogue Space Systems Corporation, named OTP-2, is an in-space testbed designed to provide a low-cost, high-quality testing environment for customer payloads.  While the payload capacity is now fully booked with 2 cutting edge propulsion payloads and an encryption device, there is still an opportunity to test software in-situ on Rogue’s edge computing device, our GPU-based Scalable Compute Platform.  This platform is fitted with extensive storage and access to a number of sensors, including 4 cameras.  If you host your software payload on OTP-2, you will also have a terrestrial testbed available to validate your software.

Services

Close-Proximity In LEO

Inspection Service

The Laura spacecraft offers a meticulous inspection service, employing its advanced Vision System and state-of-the-art sensors. This service is designed to thoroughly examine satellites and other space assets, enabling the detection of structural anomalies, damages, or malfunctions. It provides intricate details and comprehensive analysis which are critical in assessing the health and functionality of space assets, enabling timely interventions, and ensuring optimal operational longevity.

Observation Service

The observation service utilizes Laura’s Scalable Compute Platform (SCP-3) and GPU Edge Compute Cluster to acquire high-resolution, clear, and precise imagery and data from satellites and space assets. Laura provides unparalleled insights into the characteristics and behaviors of observed entities. This data is crucial for performing in-space servicing, allowing for the collection of invaluable information that contributes to our knowledge of the satellite or asset to be serviced and contributes to the development of innovative technologies and solutions for in-space servicing and sustainability.

Sensor Hosting

To further advance Laura, we are offering to host customer close-proximity sensors, software and systems, allowing clients to test and demonstrate their equipment within a real-world space environment. This not only accelerates the development and validation of new satellite sensors but also provides Rogue Space and our customers, with the opportunity to consider these tested sensors for ongoing use in their operations. By offering this adaptable platform, we underscore our commitment to innovation and collaboration in the rapidly evolving landscape of space technology.

Monitoring Service

Spacecraft Laura’s monitoring service incorporates its advanced 6-DOF Control & Maneuvering and AI Maneuver Planning capabilities to continuously track and monitor the state and activities of satellites and space debris. This service facilitates real-time data acquisition and analysis, ensuring the early detection of potential collisions or disruptions. By providing consistent and accurate monitoring, it plays a pivotal role in maintaining the safety and sustainability of space operations and mitigating risks associated with the growing presence of space objects in Earth’s orbit.
