Meet OTP-3
The third Orbital Test Program spacecraft from Rogue Space Systems Corporation, named OTP-3, is an ESPA-class in-space testbed designed to provide a low-cost, high-quality testing environment for customer payloads. While the payload capacity is beginning to fill, we have several payload locations available. In addition, there is plenty of opportunity to test software in-situ on Rogue’s edge computing device, our GPU-based Scalable Compute Platform. This platform is fitted with extensive storage and access to a number of sensors, including 4 cameras. If you host your software payload on OTP-3, you will also have a terrestrial testbed available to validate your software.
Capabilities
Close-Proximity In LEO
RPO CAPABLE PLATFORM
All Orbital Test Platform (OTP) vehicles offer their tenant payloads access to a high delta-V electronic propulsion system, power system, GNSS system, ADCS, and communication system. In addition, they provide access to Rogue’s patent pending Scaleable Compute Platform (SCP), an edge super-computer with loads of data storage capacity ready to run or AI/ML or traditional algorithms.
The OTP-3 satellite will be even more special! The OTP-3 spacecraft also makes its perceptual system and precise (multiple degree of freedom) maneuvering system available to its payload customers. Thus, if your payload requires the ability to carry out close proximity operations, you are in luck! Since these capabilities are on our roadmap, they will exist on this spacecraft, and will be available to help customers carry out their mission objectives!
Space Imagery Service
The space-imagery service utilizes OTP-3’s Scalable Compute Platform (SCP-3) and GPU Edge Compute Cluster and sensor suite to acquire, process, and securely transmit high-resolution, clear, and precise imagery and data from Low Earth Orbit (LEO). If you are in need of such data, we can interface with regulators and plan the mission to suite your needs.
Since the OTP-3 Mission Concept of Operations (CONOPS) has been designed to be a dynamic operation (i.e. it will move around), dynamic operations can be part of your mission design as well!
Sensor Hosting
To further advance our Extensible Orbot Platform (EOP), our flagship in-space servicing vehicles, we are offering to host customer close-proximity sensors, software and systems, allowing clients to test and demonstrate their equipment within a real-world space environment. This not only accelerates the development and validation of new satellite sensors but also provides Rogue Space and our customers with the opportunity to consider these tested sensors for ongoing use in their operations. By offering this adaptable platform, we underscore our commitment to innovation and collaboration in the rapidly evolving landscape of space technology.
Software Testing Service
OTP-3’s SCP GPU based supercomputing capabilities and large memory are available for you to securely test your software in space! You can train your AI/ML or test and fine tune your traditional software on our platform. We offer a companion terrestrial testbed as well, so that you can test your software changes on our flatsat first before running it in orbit!
