As Chief Operations Officer for Rogue Space, Jon Beam is accountable for the coordination of all workstreams within the company. His main objectives are to ensure follow-through on short and long-term goals and to help make certain the company culture remains conducive to productive and happy team members.
Jon has spent numerous years working in IT for both medium and large businesses. Throughout his tenure, he has worked on the Governing Board leadership experience within multiple organizations. With him on board, Rogue is guaranteed smooth sailing.
“As a passionate problem solver, team facilitator, and innovator, I’ve always desired to explore new frontiers of tricky engineering problems to solve with a great team,” he says. “I love the core values of Rogue, and the passion and ambition we get to unleash every day.
A Fascination with Space
Space is Jon’s favorite science fiction genre, whether he’s reading about it or watching depictions of it on the screen. The vast and endless potential of it all is what’s most captivating now.
“We have identified a huge business segment which will be appearing in front of us over the next five years, and we are perfectly positioned to be the best provider in that space. That’s exciting!’ he says. “My goals for Rogue are that we are the first choice and best option in the market for satellite servicing, inspection, and ad-hoc mission operations in space,” he adds. “We’ll be as easy to work with as calling for a tow truck.”
The Best for Humanity
Jon cares deeply for humanity. He is a compassionate person who ‘walks the walk’ by giving his time and money generously, putting others above himself. As a father of six, he relishes the friendship of his children as they forge their path to adulthood. He wants to see this world become a better place, not only for them, but for every other child on the planet as well. When Jon isn’t working and giving back to others, he can be found on his family farm where he’s raising animals and crops for food, and of course, solving more engineering problems.
