Laconia, N.H. — 23 February — Rogue Space Systems today announced that Satlyt, an in-space AI company focused on autonomous satellite operations, will demonstrate its AI orchestration and data optimization services on Rogue’s 3rd Generation Scalable Compute Platform. The demonstration will take place on both Rogue’s upcoming Orbital Test Platform-2B (OTP-2B) mission and its existing OTP-2 in-space platform, advancing both companies’ visions for AI-enabled orbital data centers.

Satlyt will use both OTP-2 and OTP-2B missions to test and validate its autonomous satellite operations capabilities in orbit, leveraging Rogue’s flight-proven test platform to advance real-world performance and mission readiness to include Rogue’s high performance edge compute platform, high-speed up- and down-links, autonomous maneuver planning, and dynamic space operations.

“The OTP platform was designed specifically to enable rapid, on-orbit demonstrations of emerging technologies,” said Maj. Gen. Brook Leonard, USAF (ret.), CEO of Rogue Space Systems, “Satlyt is exactly the kind of innovative partner this platform is meant to support — focused on practical on-orbit testing, operational impact, and the future of how we utilize computing in space.”

The OTP-2B mission is part of Rogue Space System’s broader effort to accelerate the development its 3rd Generation Scalable Compute Platform providing GPU-based computing, high-capacity storage, and high-speed networking on orbit. The OTP-2 mission currently on orbit provides an immediate operational software testing platform utilizing Rogue’s 2nd Generation Scalable Compute Platform with proven AI and LLM capabilities. Combined, these and future OTP platforms can be clustered at scale, enabling even higher performance as well as redundancy and resilient self-recovery in orbit.
