Mission Overview

About Orbot™-3

Orbot™-3 is the first full-scale Orbot™ — the production spacecraft that the entire OTP program has been building toward. Scheduled for launch NET Q2 2028, Orbot™-3 combines all proven OTP technologies into a single, commercially operational platform.

The spacecraft features a multi-degree-of-freedom grappling arm for physical interaction with client satellites, a standardized refueling port designed for future propellant transfer operations, and a pluggable payload containerization system that allows mission-specific tools and instruments to be swapped between flights.

Orbot™-3 represents the transition from technology demonstration to commercial operations. Built on five years of flight heritage from Barry-1 through Orbot-2, the full Orbot™ platform is designed for payload hosting, inspection, space domain awareness, and orbital delivery — with a roadmap toward servicing, life extension, refueling, and end-of-life disposal as those capabilities mature.
