Scalable Compute Platform

SCP is Rogue's TRL9 flexible compute platform built for high-performance processing, enabling on-orbit inference, autonomous mission planning support, payload-data triage, and other edge workflows. SCP provides a full Linux high-performance computing environment enabling you to containerize and move your terrestrial software workflows to the point where they can be most effective: your satellite in orbit.

The Why

Your mission generates more than your ground station can handle

Modern spacecraft collect far more data than any downlink window can return to the ground. By the time that data is processed and acted on, the moment has passed. Ground-in-the-loop architectures add hours or days of latency between collection and response — incompatible with time-sensitive operations, denied comms environments, or missions where conditions change faster than an operator can react.

At the same time, every new payload or capability update traditionally requires changes to flight-critical systems — adding integration risk, cost, and schedule. Mission software shouldn't live on your flight computer.

SCP gives you a dedicated, flight-proven compute layer that runs your software in orbit, separate from the flight computer, so you can process, triage, and act on your data at the point of collection — and update your workflows over the life of the mission without touching flight-critical systems.

What SCP Supports

High-performance processing at the orbital edge

  • Real-time image filtering, event detection, and onboard compression to maximize downlink value
  • Persistent LLM inference with session context for onboard copiloting and decision support
  • Autonomous mission planning support, objective in, execution plan out, to minimize ground intervention
  • Payload-data triage and custom analytics using your mission software
  • Flexible compute capacity for missions that need more onboard processing capability
Use Cases

SCP-supported mission workflows

SCP is flight-demonstrated on OTP-2 across persistent LLM inference, onboard image processing, autonomous mission planning support, and mission software execution separate from the flight computer.

Real-Time Edge Processing

Supports real-time image filtering, event detection, and onboard compression to maximize the value of each downlink window.

Persistent LLM Inference

Persistent LLM inference with context maintained across sessions for onboard copiloting and decision support.

Autonomous Mission Planning

Supports autonomous mission planning workflows, objective in, execution plan out, to help minimize ground intervention where the mission architecture permits.

Command Pathways

Facilitates command pathways from SCP to the flight computer when supported by the mission architecture, helping accelerate tempo in denied or limited communications environments.

On-Orbit Software Updates

New algorithms and workflows can be uploaded on orbit as requirements evolve, extending SCP capabilities over the life of your mission without hardware changes.

Defense Sensing & Edge Compute

For ISR, SAR, SDA/SSA, and ISL mission teams, SCP provides flight-proven GPU-accelerated compute for your edge workflows closer to the data source.
