Laconia, NH – January 15, 2026 – Rogue Space Systems Corporation announces that it was awarded a $2,000,000.00 contract modification by SpaceWERX under the Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI) initiative, with a 24-month period of performance. The full $2M in Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) SBIR funding is obligated at time of award. The total potential value for the Rogue Space Systems TACFI effort is $4M, inclusive of private funding not reflected in the government contract award value.
The Air Force Research Laboratory and SpaceWERX—the innovation arm of the U.S. Space Force and a unique division within AFWERX—have partnered to accelerate the transition of advanced operational capabilities to the warfighter. Since its alignment under AFRL, SpaceWERX has executed over 1,470 contracts worth more than $1.46B to strengthen the U.S. defense industrial base and drive faster technology transition to operational capability.
