Rogue’s Logistics Infrastructure is centered around its WaypointTM Uncrewed Persistent Platforms and its OrblockTM “busless” payload containers. Much like the modern industrial park has brought infrastructural support such as power, co-location with suppliers, and convenient shipping to modern industry, our Waypoint platforms do the same in space. Our Orblock containers serve much like the modern shipping containers in cargo ships, providing a paradigm-shifting level of economy to transporting payloads in space using these low-cost and reusable containers. Gone are the days where a multi-million-dollar satellite bus, and several years of “wooden shoe” development are required to transport a payload! We can do it cheaper and faster!
How do these “smart shipping containers” travers from one destination in space to another? We’re glad you asked! This is where our Extensible OrbotTM platform comes in! The highly extensive design provides a base “chassis” on which numerous payload modules can be carried. Some variants of our Orbots will have multiple robot arms and diverse end effectors to both carry and load or unload your cargo. Others can simply tow the Orblock to its berthing port on its assigned Waypoint platform, and plug it in.
Rogue’s Waypoint Platforms will serve as the “Industrial Parks” in space, where power, temperature regulation, secure communications, computing power and data storage are all provided to your operation. Multiple In-space manufacturing lines can be hosted on each Waypoint platform, and the platforms themselves will be arranged in an orbital “hub and spoke” model, extending the reach of the logistics chain to wherever it is needed. Up-and-coming reusable 2nd-stage “upmass” and “downmass” vehicles, provided by our partners, can be loaded and unloaded with ease by our Orbot workforce. Your production line will have 24×7 support by Autonomous- and Semi-Autonomous Orbot worker drones. Your lines will rarely ever have to stop, and your microchips, life-saving drugs, human organs, or an infinite number of other mind-bending new materials will be able to economically come to market for use on earth, in space, or in future human-habited locations!
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE HOSTING
Rogue Space Systems offers secure and reliable hardware and software hosting solutions onboard our spacecraft. By leveraging our infrastructure, clients can deploy their payloads, instruments, or experiments in space without the need for dedicated satellite missions, reducing costs and accelerating time-to-market.
Rogue’s E-Bus™ technology greatly simplifies the integration of your payload into our bus. This reduces the time required to get your payload into space. In addition, all of our spacecraft have Rogue’s patented Scalable Compute Platform (SCP), a GPU-based super computer with lots of memory, that is available for processing data from your payload.
We offer a “Customer Bench” that will allow customers remote access to an SCP so they can test out their software directly on it. This will also include access to data from the power supply unit, a logic analyzer and a webcam showing a live view of the bench. Other things can be arranged as needed.
